thinking about purple today - a beautiful august day - hot and thickly sunny - i LOVE to do my art outside but today i think it's an inside day!!

the day i took this portrait of purple - it was late in the day and there was a glow of purple light around this patch of purple flowers and the breeze was making them dance......
